Biography
Ronsard was the founder of the original clan, Darkhaven, based in the Lightning Flight. After his intended mate, Epa, chose her deity over her mate, Ronsard went through a variety of casual relationships. Once the fearsome leader of a young clan, over time, Ronsard gradually removed himself from clan politics, leaving things to the younger members.
Though his influence has lessened, he is still an active member of the clan, dispensing advice between sips of Sornieth vodka. Still an active member of the 25’s, he assists his clan in the coliseum. Ronsard never speaks of his ward. It is suspected that it may have been one of his many children, exalted long before their time. When asked if he would join the Windblown, his only response was, “If not me, then who?”
Recently, Ronsard has begun to wander from the clan, for ever increasing durations. He is disinclined to speak about these journeys, his only companion a faint shade of a departed spirit, who refuses to speak to even Arawn. Sometimes the spectre appears to walk with him, a shadow of a tundra padding beside in silent grief. The clan watches with concern every time he sets off into the wilds, a haunt his only friend. They worry that one day, he will wander too far, and spend eternity walking with his quiet shadow.
