The crack of lightning whip lights up the darkened skies, rain pelting the groaning and creaking ship like a hail of bullets. The waves roar and clash in untamed rage.OPHIUCHUS
⚜ ⚜ ⚜
Winds hiss and howler like unholly beasts in the ears of Ophiuchus and his crew-- tossing the vessel like leviathans toying with their prey before devouring it at last.
Yet the old seawolf stoically stands his ground, rolling the steering wheel to control the wailing vessel and keep it from crashing into the lands on either side.
"THIEVES! RETURN IT BACK TO ME, AND LEAVE THESE WATERS!" A looming siren screams at them, gripping the railing of the forecastle, changing into a more monstrous form. Rigid fins spring on the sides and top of her head, and razor spines grow out of her back-- down to the very tip of her fish tail.
Nails turn to hooked claws, and face elongates to a thin spiked snout-- countless teeth gleaming with venom when another lightning flashes.
—"Captain!" A frightened crew member yells from the main deck, holding the sails. Growling in frustration the captain maneuvers the ship yet again and yells out to them:
—"Fire the cannons lads! Let this demon taste real pain!"
Soon as ordered the cannons open fire and harpoons fly at the beast, hitting it on multiple places. The sea witch screeching in primal anguished fury as the blades jab and lodge into her skin deeply, the cannonballs pummeling her ribs and arms.
Snarling the horrid Shade-minnion dives back into the depths of the wide river, making the boat lean on its side. Some lads fell in the murky blackwaters and others clung to the whatever they could find.
Suddenly the monster leaps out of the waves and dive back, creating a tidal wave so mighty-- it sends Old weeping Bertha crashing into a swampy area of the Shieking wilds. Dazed and weakened, the old pirate tries to stand, pieces of wooden planks stuck in his hide.
From afar sinister words echo as misty fog begins to cloud his blurry vision.
You stole my greatest treasures in your hunts,
A cursed prisoner of your own hungers may you be,
Always searching yet never finding,
Shackled and bound,
Never resting until!
All you cherish, your greatest treasures, all shall be lost!
