Fionn's methods might not be the most conventional ones, but that does not make him a thief, at least as far as he is concerned.

Sure, every once in a while he might sneak into another clan's hoard and swipe some of their objects whenever he gets tired of not finding anything in the wastness of the Abiding Boneyard, but he is just trying to be resourceful.

So far he has only been caught once and though they managed to take his left thumb, the armlet he wears they didn't get back and that's a fair enough deal in his opinion.

Apart from that, Fionn has a laid-back, adventurous attitude and his willingness to accept bets on what he can 'scavenge' next has gathered him many friends in the clan, most of all the Merchant, who is quite grateful for the help he gets with the stocking up of his ware.
