Introduction A scarred and bitter-looking Nocturne eyes you warily from amongst a field of red flowers. His one eye with a gash running across is it narrowed and you can feel his gaze burn into you. He makes his way over to you and Amarantos in a manner, not unlike a hunter stalking prey. Despite his barely contained enmity, he's mindful of where his body is at in space, and he carefully maneuvers himself among the bursts of red blossoms. He shoots you a suspicious glance and Amarantos responds to it calmly, "A guest. Be nice." The Nocturne acknowledges his overseer with 'hmph' but recedes. "Listen here, you make any trouble here for anyone here and I'll see to it that y-" Amarantos unfurls one of his wings, using it as a censor of sorts. "Enough with that, you have nothing to worry about, Ly. You can rest easy, alright?" Lycoris makes another disgruntled noise from behind the Imperial's quartzous wings. "Fine, but if they do anything-" Amarantos retracts his wing, and you can see he has a fond smile on his face. It takes a bit more persuasion to make Lycoris back down, but it's clear that he wasn't just searching for a fight. His devotion and protectiveness to Amarantos are obvious, and you have no doubt that something from his past has made him so paranoid of newcomers. |

He fought vigorously and believed he would contribute towards the honorable cause of serving the Flamecaller. Even though he wound up not being chosen for the quest to fight for the Flame-mother's dominance, he chose to slash his way across Sornieth and display his own wealth of power. His soul burnt hot and fast, and soon he found himself exhausted of a will to continue scorching the earth. He had cleansed the land for long enough, and he sought shelter in Amarantos' garden. The Imperial took him in and now lets him rest his jaded limbs and wings. Although he longs to fight again, he has taken the Unfading Garden in as his charge that he now devotes his life to. |
