Hyperion has been a tough as nails soloist since the start. Being born prematurely, he wandered from his nest into the dangers of the Scarred Wasteland. Going by an astoundingly immediate survival instinct, he crawled up the Rotrock Rim, even though pests tried to eat away at his delicate new flesh. He powered on, and survived off what nutrients were left of the shrubbery there. By the time he could run, he was already hunting the local wildlife, crafting himself into a fine warrior. He claimed territory, protected it, moved on, and repeated. How he found himself in the Tangled Wood, at his peak as a young and virile male, is beyond his comprehension. Speaking back on it, he can only describe it as a 'calling.' Forgiven for his quick-to-judge attitude, he and the Timber Dusk clan leader Grumbles spoke for what the members recall as being somewhere between one sunset and one sunrise to three days and nights. This very much unknown, potentially dangerous plague dragon, suddenly became their second-in-command. But Grumbles made the right choice, as he's never done his clan wrong, guiding them on the right path and protecting them with his own life.
