Dusk and Dawn have been partners for years. They are fully committed to each other, and when their old clan in the Wind realm dispersed into the four cardinal directions, they struck out into the unknown together. The outskirts of the Sunbeam Ruins are an uncharted place, too close to the Hewn City to be overly populated, but Dusk knows he and his nest will not face danger while Dawn is near. In this environment, they were hoping to raise one last clutch of eggs before joining the ranks of the Lightweaver.

Dusk is a caring father, guarding his nest and his hatchlings with all his energy. Therefore, he often exhausts himself if not careful, and relies on Dawn to supply him withfod to keep up his energy. What neither Dawn nor Dusk had bargained for was a strange, localised phenomenon that turned their nesting spot into a catch-all area. All manner of creatures, once lost in their native environment, tended to find themselves here... And the Wildclaws quickly discovered that this extended to eggs as well. This means that Dusk often finds himself working late into the night, turning eggs, shifting piles of leaves, and generally patrolling the area.

Both partners are well-weathered coliseum fighters. Most important to Dusk is the possibility to win all things shiny. Intent on making their home as brilliant and exciting as possible, Dusk devotes his little free time to the arts, much to the grief of the more subtle Nocturnes that have recently started nesting nearby. However, thanks to Dusk's gentle demeanor (not to forget, his imposing stature and Wildclaw-typical tendency to shriek at any small misgiving) have so far kept a stable peace.

Recently, a small but brilliantly coloured spirit has joined his sparkelisation efforts, imbuing gems and other objects with a subtle glow that fills Dusk with endless joy.
