 Dawn is the leader of the clan, as well as its fiercest protector. She and her life-partner Dusk have travelled far from the Zephyr Steppes to find a new home for their family. The outskirts of the Sunbeam Ruins are an uncharted place, too close to the Hewn City to be overly populated, which suited the pair perfectly. Many of her children have joined the ranks of the Windsinger and the Lightweaver, or gone out into the world to make their own place. However, their hunting trips have repeatedly led to more surprising finds. Numerous younglings and eggs have emerged, dazed and confused, from the Hewn City into the light of dawn . Unperturbed by Dawn’s abrasive demeanour, and enchanted by Dusk’s calm and friendly nature, many have chosen to stay. And so, a new clan came into being, relying on Dawn to see them through the night and into the new day. In the time since, they have found allies in neighbouring territories, most notably a clan led by Dawn’s daughter Noon in the Viridian Labyrinth.
