Astralaria was born with strange markings of the stars upon her body and wings, it made her strangely different compared to her siblings and family. She was unsure as to why since she was born in Snowsquall Tundra on the Southern Icefield. She was an Ice Flight dragon and not one that normally associated themselves with the stars or the wonder beyond the skies. She knew she would not get any information here, so she decided to go to the place where the stars were frequently studied; the Starfall Isles.

As she grew up on her journey to the Starfall Isles, she would always gaze up at the twinkling stars curiously, wondering why of all dragons did she bare the marks of the stars on her body. Once she reached the Starwood Strands, she knew she was close to where she could get her answers. All she had to do was fly over to the Observatory where The Arcanist resides to count and study the stars above. The first point she had to reach however happens to be the Focal Point.

When dawn approached, Astralaria rested her head on the grass upon the Focal Point; gathering and storing her energy for her ascent to the Observatory in hopes for some answer; she dreamt of possibly even meeting The Arcanist face to face. As the sun started to set, Astralaria got up and stretched her wings, beginning her journey up to The Observatory. Even though she could not enter or gain access into the Observatory especially, she was still able to watch and study the stars above with no interruption; one day hoping to uncover the truth.

Night time was when Astralaria could be herself, watching the bright moon and the stars above while she sat near The Observatory. Endless amount of stars that littered the dark sky above brought her a sense of peace and inquisitive thinking. Every night she watched, counted and thought about everything until dawn was on the horizon, to which she would curl up asleep in the shade and sleep until the moon rose up again to illuminate the sky. This was her constant routine, in hopes one day the answer would fall into place and near her so she can understand what her purpose was in this world.

It was until one night that she caught something strange moving in the sky, she watched intently as the moving light zoom across the sky and towards her; prompting her to move before the strange light collided with her. The power and shock startled the dragon as she peered over the damage; a strange rock radiating with magic fell from the sky and almost hit the dragon upside the head, she was lucky to have escaped the damage. But the shock-wave from the collision prompted The Observatory to open and The Arcanist to come out to assess the situation.

Surprised by the appearance of The Arcanist, the Arcane deity himself made Astralaria both nervous yet excited to have met the great observer before her. As the deity took a glimpse at the damage the strange rock did, he noticed the imperial staring at him and would question as to why the dragon was resting by The Observatory. As she explained herself and as to why she chose The Observatory as her temporary home; the deity observed her markings with a curious gaze. He came to the conclusion she was blessed by the stars and that the strange falling rock, which he claimed to be a comet is just one of many just like her that are special in the sky.

"The stars shine bright upon me, and I feel quite at home among my kind"
