SERA - derivative form of the Late Latin name Seraphinus, derived from the Hebrew biblical word seraphim meaning "fiery ones"

Pledged to Angela

Bio - Sera was one of the founding members of the clan, and has journeyed with it from flight to flight, battle to battle, sowing chaos and taking in strays along the way. Over time she's grown from a thorn in Yrsa's side to one of her most trusted clan members, one of the triumverate known as the Yrsung Shieldmaidens, and a powerful mage. While initially interested in battle magic, Sera found she had a knack for healing, and has since become the go-to clan member for medical help and consultation.

In an interesting twist of fate, the daughter of the Guardian who Sera attached herself to in the midst of her Search seems to be convinced Sera is her charge. Though much younger, Angela trails after Sera in her fighting, tunneling, and work, rarely letting the Ridgeback out of her sight. Sera plays it off as a joke, but Angela seems deadly serious, and Sera privately finds it bizarrely comforting to have someone who directly expresses attachment to her rather than joking about her being a nuisance, as many of her closest friends in the clan do.
