For many years, Allure was unable to find his charge. He searched throughout all of Sornieth but still felt empty. In desperation, he turned to a life of mercenary work, hoping to feel something or find some purpose in life. He did not turn home to his parents and he did not have a clan. He covered himself in tattoos for each battle he won. In one battle, is wing leather was destroyed by fire. The Lightweaver came to him and gifted him with wings made out of feathers and the peace that comes from the knowledge that his Charge was out there, and soon he would find it.

He found is charge unexpectedly. In battle, he saw a familiar form, a dark-colored guardian with pale green wings and belly. For a moment, he thought that it was his own reflection. He was shaken out of this delusion when he saw that this other guardian, a female, was bellowing and charging in defense of a small flowering tree.
