Gate Guard of the Abyssal Acropolis
Charge: Abyssal Acropolis

Protector of the Abyssal Acropolis during the night hours, and when away from the above sea gate a gigantic blueridge greatshell blocks the way.

GlacierGuard was originally hired by DiamondStrife (now one of the honorable exalted) as a mercenary protector of the city, but upon reaching the city’s black gates she realized that her search had ended and that her eternal role would be to protect the Abyssal Acropolis. Devoted and ever diligent to her duties, she rigidly stands guard during the night and punctually checks all the entrances to the city. And while most dragons find her unemotional gaze and rigid posture unnerving, it belies the passion that drives her to work so hard- all to protect the watery world she has fallen in love with. During battle she will attack first, striking swiftly without mercy to those deemed an enemy.

Her favorite time of day is dawn, upon which SquallShield and she sit before the lair gates together after a long night of guardianship. It is when she is most relaxed, for that is when the city is most protected under both of the guardian's wings. With the rising sun she leaves her mate knowing that the city is safe under his care, and that is truly the greatest honor she can bestow upon another dragon. That trust, that he will protect the Acropolis even to his final breath, is why she can sleep so soundly and rise again another night to protect her charge once again.

Unfortunately, while she does love and trust SquallShield, it is not the love of charge and guardian. He is her shieldmate, a dragon to be trusted above all else, but she fears the day that he must choose between the Acropolis and him.

"You come before the hallowed gates of the Abyssal Acropolis! Announce and identify thyself before coming any closer at thy peril!"
