Protector of the Abyssal Acropolis during the day hours, and when away from the above sea gate a gigantic greatshell blocks the way. Born of a prince consort and one of the honorable exalted, SquallShield holds himself and his job in high esteem. He haughtily enjoys the role of judging incomers to the Acropolis, deeming them “unsuitable” and “suitable” even when they are a part of the clan. He has even gone to the point of instating passwords which he changes on a daily, hourly…or just whenever he capriciously decides on changing it. However, he does not play such tricks on his superiors or during attack and knows when respect is truly to be given and to act like a true soldier. For though he is arrogant and disdainful, he is truly faithful to his home and charge, the Abyssal Acropolis. If an attack comes, he will defend against it with his final breath. His mate and second charge- GlacierGuard, is his princess, his lady, his love and his life. He often buys her jewelry of precious pearls and silver to “match her eyes”, though she doesn’t often wear it except for special occasions. He knows she does not have the love of charge and guardian like he does for her, but still he cannot deny the duality of his devotion to both the Acropolis and her. But he will protect both to the fullest of his ability, and he fears the day he might have to choose. His favorite time of day is dusk upon which he gets to see his love, after a long day of guardianship. Together they sit at the lair gates, tails curled together as the sun sets slowly over the sea and their eyes ever searching for both enemy and friend. "Hmmm?...well hello I did not notice you. Yes I know you wish to come to the Abyssal Acropolis- but do you know the password? You don't? Well what a pity. Please come back when you know the password." |
