Biography
Gwena has lived what can only be described as an 'eventful' life. From the very beginning of her life, hatched in the warmth of the Emberglow Hearth, she's been headstrong, bold and determined to follow her dreams- or perhaps more accurately, the stars, since the minute she was taught of the existence of astrology by a kindly old Ridgeback in her birth clan, she adopted the practice as her own.
It soon became evident that her birth clan was not her ideal home, and never being one to waffle around she immediately made plans to leave. Behind her loving but slightly overprotective mother's back, she struck a deal with a slightly shady Mirror for a battered caravan, and used her touch with animals to persuade a pair of cockatrice who had been nesting behind her den to pull it. Then, in the dead of night, she set off.
Since that day, which is a long time ago now, she has been the length and breadth of Sornieth multiple times, been on the rise and on the fall, patched her caravan up so many times it's dubious if it's even the same vehicle any more, told more fortunes than it's possible to count and taken part in an absurd number of adventures, any and all of which she will recount with great relish to anyone who seems ready to listen. How much of the tales is true and how much is, erm, embellished, is probably impossible to work out, but they're always entertaining, even if they're also quite often rather embarrassing. Especially to those of a more sensitive nature.
Lately she's been slowing down a little; her tail, caught once in a trap set by rebellious centaurs (and isn't THAT a story!), aches in the wet, and she's not as young as she was. The caravan is more a rolling rickety heap than it is a means of transportation, and the many, many pot-plants it has hanging off it doesn't help. She's remembering with longing the warm ashes of her birthplace, and looking for a more permanent place to settle down- though it's unlikely she'll ever lose her roaming urges entirely.
