Biography
Front page dragon! November 10 2018
In mourning for the loss of his mate, Silicon, who was lost to an Emperor attack. He moved slow and automatically in response to the evacuations for some time, paying attention to nothing but exactly what he needs to do. The other dragons took measures to ensure his safety, uncertain of when he'd recover.
His current mental state is not clear. But suddenly, out of the blue, when opportunities for new battle trainees opened up, Steiner resolutely volunteered himself. When asked about his reasoning, he kept his words short, only saying: "I want to be stronger." Some dragons worry about his mental well-being when he agreed, but he was nevertheless accepted as a trainee. Megan, the trainer, thought that maybe this would ultimately be good for his mental well-being, and it never hurts to have more protectors in the clan. He takes to his trainings with intense focus. Time will tell to see if Megan is right.
He has since finished his training, and become stronger. He took to his job as a defender, but in quiet times, he couldn't keep his eyes off of the Emperor in the distance. Sometimes he grows frustrated at the lack of response to the Emperor, and he was utterly offended when he learned that there was a convention in its honor. However, plans to avenge his mate quickly went awry when he had the opportunity. He attempted to attack the Emperor, at least weaken it, despite the warnings of the other dragons. He barely escaped with his life, and to this day is scarred. While he still doesn't mind the occasional swipe at the Emperor, he has since refocused himself out of necessity to protecting members of the clan, and seeing them safe. At least he can keep someone else from getting killed. If he can do that, he figures, perhaps his life still has purpose after all.
Time will tell if he grows more interest outside of that.
