Zola

Your name is Zola, you are known as the quiet one.

You sit in your dark cavern and watch the dragons and new hatchlings below playing and conversing with one another. Watching the new hatchlings tumble about and laughing almost makes a smile spread across your face, almost. You see your brothers talking to the other male dragons, you want to go and join them, but you already know what would happen. The other dragons aren't very fond of you, they say you're weak and that you spend too much time thinking.

Little teeth clamp around your white tipped tail, and you turn to see a little blue nocturne. Seeing the tiny hatchling makes you smile. You watch them occasionally, but they never venture up here.
"Hello little one." You whisper.
They let out a tiny squeak and go back to nibbling your tail. You gently shake her off and slowly move your tail, watching her purple eyes dart back and forth trying to catch it.
However it wasn't long before a male nocturne came and grabbed the tiny dragon off the floor.
"Don't touch her." He simply growled before flying back down with the tiny dragon.

You sighed, you figured this would happen, it always does. Your not quite sure how "weakness" rubs off but you would rather not question angry parents. You lay down and curl your tail by your face. You decided to head out somewhere else, where maybe a dragon like you would be liked by others.

When night falls and all the other dragons are asleep you silently sneak away from your clan and fly elsewhere. You notice a young pearlcatcher by a lake gathering water. You fly down a few feet away and hide between the thick bushes and undergrowth of the forest. She has blue wings and bright green eyes, maybe she is part of a wind clan?

"If you fly all the way here you might as well say something." She laughs, not looking back at you.

You slowly creep out from the bushes and sit facing towards her back, at least until she turns around.

"Are you lost?"

You swing your head to say no and the pearlcatcher smiles.

"Left your clan?" She asked.

You nodded.

"I did too, if you want you can follow me back to mine. It's kind of small but fairly nice."

You follow her to a clearing filled with some pink rocks but mostly grass. There were a few caves formed and only a few dragons.

"Oh, I'm Freesia by the way." The pearlcatcher smiled.

"Zola." You reply in a whisper.

You see several hatchlings playing while adults are eating and talking, a few notice you and wave while one or two start walking towards you.

"Well Zola, do you think you want to stay here?" Freesia asks.

You nod with a smile.
