History
Growing up as the youngest daughter to their clan leader Onslaught, and only child to Sideswipe, Wisp was doted on by her whole clan as she was also one of only two hatchlings at the time.

Growing up with her best friend Viscera, Wisp lead the life Onslaught wishes he could have provided to her three older sister; she grew up in the comfort and security of a large clan that no longer had to fight tooth and nail for every little scrap they had.

Having three older sisters, Wisp was taught much of her life skills from them; by the time Wisp had come along, Onslaught had been tired having been warn down by three daughters already. Although Wisp had been spoiled ruthlessly by her older sisters, she was always a naturally good hearted dragon, if a little naive that saw the goodness in every creature she met and showed mercy to those that do not necessarily deserve it.

Her family worries for her because of her soft heart , and as such they have all taught her some skills to protect herself; Elite, much like Wisp, taught her that it is okay to be merciful and soft. That it is not necessarily a weakness. Chromia, whose mother was the leader of the mages and witches of the clan, taught Wisp how to harness the power of fire and magic. Aqua, the future leader of their clan, taught Wisp how to be a leader and be confident in herself.

Onslaught and Sideswipe raised her to be kind, setting Wisp up to be the perfect dragon to be the one to help find other strays and bring them someplace safe; and Onslaught and Sideswipe love their little hatchlings so very much.

Heart of the Clan

Wisp is like a breath of fresh air for the clan; with so many warriors and conflicting personalizes, having someone who is kind and caring, who has the uncanny ability to see both sides of a story, is a necessity in a clan. Wisp, as she grew, not only became the dragon that brings others here to call it their home, but became the one the others could turn to for an understanding ear.

Despite her young age, Wisp has an old soul and is more then delighted to help her clan members in any way she can. She is the heart of the clan, the glue that holds all the members together and reminds them all why they stick togeaher and why they love each other like family.

Her Syndrome
Wisp had always heard the rumors about Syndrome's; massive creatures of myth, that had been returned to this land after being exalted. Dragons that served the Plaugebringer, whose sole duty was to return those lost souls to the Wyrmwound to serve the plague deity.

Enamored by such stories as a hatchling, Wisp dreamt of the day when she would be old enough to explore and maybe even meet one of these massive creatures. The want to explore never faded within Wisp's spirit, and when she became of age, she began to travel with her best friend, Viscera back and forth from the Scarred Wasteland as the Skinless dragon guarded their clan's Plague Representative, Curse, from the dangers of their world.

It was during one such exploration did they meet a Syndrome, quite by mistake. They had been returning home from the Scarred Wasteland, when they had found a large Guardian, lost and in distressed; Curse had sneered in disdain, telling his clan members that it was just a broken Syndrome.

Curse had wanted to leave the Guardian where he was, not caring enough about a broken Syndrome who could no longer hear their deities voice; but Wisp could not leave the massive creature to suffer, refused to leave him, her excitement at finding a Syndrome doused in the face of his distress.

Upon taking the Syndrome home, Wisp convinced her parents to allow him to stay with them until their next trip out to the Scarred Wasteland; to which they had agreed, unable to deny their youngest what she desired.

During those first few weeks, the Sydrome had said nothing to her, simply stared out at the warm air and lava of The Ashfall Waste; stunned and broken. Yet, Wisp stayed with him during his stay, talking to him, trying to get him to open up.

Her efforts had paid off, and one day, the stoic face turned to Wisp and quietly told her that he and his partner had been escorting a group back to the Plaugebringer's warm embraced when they were attacked; his partner murdered, and he had no idea what became of the group he was escorting. When he awoke, he could no longer hear the Plaugebringer's voice, like an instinct, within his head; he must have shamed her, and lost her favor.

Wisp, not one to allow any creature to remain in pain, swore to help the Syndrome to win her favor back, escorting him around the Ashfall Waste, finding those who wished to return to the Plaugebringer and helping the Syndrome do so.

Wisp discovered that her Syndrome was more then just a stoic creature, lacking emotion and feeling. They were hidden and protected; and the life-loving Wisp had managed to nudge her way passed his defenses; eventually becoming a permanent member of the group that regularly travels back and forth to the Scarred Wasteland.

It had taken time for Wisp to first become his friend, but even longer before the Syndrome gave up his name; now she and Barricade are nearly inseparable, and Wisp does all she can to help him get the redemption he so desperately seeks.
