Marama's appearance, mannerisms, and how the other members of the Iridium Apparitions interact with and treat her, lead many to believe that she's of royalty. She uses this false assumption to her advantage for as long as possible, especially when it solely benefits her.

Although she enjoys the social benefits, she hates that it's much more acceptable than being referred to as the 'Moon Goddess'. She truly feels that she's the reincarnation, and only interacts with and helps those who she deems 'worthy' (which're few and far between).

  • Maori name meaning 'moon'.
  • First began tagging along with the Apparitions because Lysis (the previous leader) didn't bat an eye at her goddess delusion.
  • Stuck around after Lainnaelayr took over because she always enjoyed his views and methods more.
  • Is seen in Llainnaelayr's presence often enough to be considered as his 'right hand'.
  • Her main method of healing is by stealing the energy of surrounding spirits and channeling it through her pearl. This effectively snuffs out most spirits. Those that manage to survive become twisted and earn the nickname of 'demon'.
  • If there aren't any/enough spirits available, her secondary method is by harnessing the moonlight. If ample moonlight isn't available then the one in need is out of luck.
  • Would rather sit back and watch instead of getting hurt/her hands dirty.
  • Some wonder if she was previously a pearlcatcher.
  • Treats Kafziel like he's her personal pest.
  • Sees potential mates as puzzles to be solved; doesn't have a 'type'.
