Callisto

The other dragons preferred to stay away from Callisto.
It wasn't that she liked to cause trouble or fights, but the fact that she had a rather eerie way of knowing things.
When the Beastclans had attacked, she had known days before.
When the famines came, she was prepared.
And when the floods swept in, her nest was the only one that was safe and dry.
They didn't find out about her…..talents until her predictions began to come true.
To be fair, it wasn't all that easy to talk to her either.
Callisto always seemed to drift away from the conversation, glancing down at her pearl every once in a while.
And the way she talked was both disconcerting and slightly unsettling.
She didn't choose to interact much, though Mystia, the clan's alchemist and her respected each other's silence.
The soft-spoken pearlcatcher was always staring at her pearl, as if the secrets of the universe were held in the glossy sphere.
And what made it even more peculiar was the fact that her pearl was huge, even bigger than that of the oldest pearlcatcher in the clan.
She wasn't all that ancient.
The others didn’t seem to believe in reincarnation, and never once did they suspect that evidence of it lived in their very clan.
Memories of past lives were a heavy thing to live with, after all.
