Not the Shade, but not quite dragon either. Brennan is a living embodiment of nightmares. He is able to see every living creatures fears and phobias. He can then plague individuals with nightmares based upon those fears. He quite literally feeds off fear, so members of Revery are quick to blame Brennan for any restless nights they may be having.

He is a very stern and short tempered dragon. He mostly keeps to himself and at any time he is seen outside his den, Suri or Melanie are usually nearby. He is extremely protective of anyone within his family. All other dragons he simply tolerates.

How Brennan managed to find such a polar opposite mate is interesting. Suri, being as social as she is, always tried to talk to him back when they both lived under a different clan. He was the only one in the clan that would tolerate her chatter. She would follow Brennan wherever he went and sit calmly nearby after inviting herself into his den. Despite his snarling protests.
He slowly began to enjoy her bubbly personality among the serious overall mood of the clan.

His true love for her shined though when several members of the clan grew tired of Suri's disgustingly low rank among them and planned to kill her. Brennan came to her rescue without hesitation and fled the clan with her. The following months wandering alone together eventually led to Suri becoming both Brennan's charge and mate for life.

BREEDING HISTORY:
By the time of creating this section in this dragon's bio, my memory of purchasing him has long faded. The only thing I truly remember is that Brennan was a Iridescent / Shimmer / Spines Ridgeback at the time of purchase. A Guardian best fit the personality of my OC, and his physical appearance is shadowy so his genes are constantly changing as Flight Rising introduces new genes that better fit the character.

While the OC has yellow eyes, fire was chosen to better fit his short temper.
All artistic interpretations will show him as Basic / Basic / Smoke
