Biography
OverlordWatch - The Exalted Returned
We are the old ones.
We are the honored Exalted.
We will defy the greatest commands
And heedlessly walk the forbidden lands.
We will find those worthy.
We will bring them home.
They gather at crossroads and chant to the wind -
Dancing in graveyards, to revel in sin.
All innocence lost and all faith destroyed,
To endlessly return from the sickness void.
Forgotten all dreams and ceaslessly seeking -
Here the Syndromic have come for the reaping.
The hymns of the Wyrmwound sing of the Syndromic dragons. According to legend and fable and song, these dragons have been exalted to the Plaguebringer, and by her will, they return to the lands to venture far and wide from their god's domain to bring home dragons who have decided to devote themselves to the Plaguebringer. These great, monstrous dragons are often hulking beasts scarred from the sheer ordeal of returning from their ascent to being a proper envoy, and it mars their flesh in deep bars.
The Syndromic is a dragon who can endure the stress and strain of leaving their homeland and their god, to travel to harsh lands as a towering colossus, an omen of terrible things. They hear the call of dragons who wish to serve the Plaguebringer, and they are sent out far and wide to bring these dragons into her service. They are not cruel, not malicious sorts, and they are devoted to bringing their charge back home. The Syndromic dragons do not always travel alone, and some may travel together to ensure that neither dragon is lost to the elements or the beasts. They take their task seriously, and will always take favor on those who have been cast out or chased away.
While many clans from other flights have written off these creatures as a hoax or a ghost story, it has only taken one glimpse of these behemoths on the morning sun to turn even the most firm skeptic into a believer.
