Anastasia was born the youngest child of her late father, the previous clan leader. Her mother was an escort hired by her father to provide an heir before he met death by his own hands. With her elder sister prophesied to take the throne, she and her brother were abandoned at the auction house, but things didn't go as planned. Her sister, Iris, grew to be rebellious and defiant, unwilling to accept her role as clan leader. She had agreed to provide a second heir before she went off on her own, but was slaughtered by her own mother, Lilyanna, before she reached maturity. Her mother, being regent at the time, believed that eliminating the heir would crown her queen, but her plan failed and she was exiled to a nearby clan. With no one in place to inherit the role, Ana was recovered from the auction house, her brother already having taken residence in another clan, and was named clan leader. Though in shock from the death of her father and sister, and the actions of her mother, she decided to try and do her best as leader.

After a ritual performed by the necromancer Veronica involving her dead father's ghost and corpse, another heir to Willow was birthed into the lair, with his divine blood in his veins. Her new brother, Wisteria, with the right to the throne and the power to take it, tricked her into trusting him before slaughtering her and framing it as a suicide. Being her kin, he had responsibility of her burial, but he devoured her instead. She died at the hands of her own kin, just like her sister, though she now has the opportunity of reunion with her father in the afterlife, who had passed before she was born.
