The dark Fae sits and watches others in the lair. A dragon passes, dark like him, striking white wings. He whispers something that makes no sense. He cocks his head and grabs at his snout, snickering lightly. Anhiom cracks his eyes open again. A dark shape with striking white wings passes by him. Who was that..? They looked vaguely familiar. Had he seen them before?

He looks beside him, where his mate is curled up. She looks...like someone he knows. His eyes settle on the blood gems protruding from her. Pretty. They're pretty.

She catches him staring. What is it, she asks.

He scoots closer to her, licking his maw and whispering something.

What, she asks again.
