Biography
A wanderer in the shadows, the silent hunter Charon rarely interacts with most of the clan. He skirts around the edges of the tunnels, keeping to the dark places. Leucas spots him on occasion, prowling through the bones that litter the desert around Windhover Mesa.
Charon is a savage dragon who answers to only one master: the mad dragon Erebus. Charon's ferocity in combat is legendary, whispered at night between young dragons in the Intern Barracks. Thanks to his cunning and strength, Charon is able to hunt enough food for all the Acolytes of Erebus, keeping them well-stocked in case Kuranes cuts them off of the Windhovers' supplies. And should Erebus himself ever be threatened--though Gods know why anyone would ever be foolhardy enough to confront him--Charon would be there, snarling and bristling, ready to hurl himself at any intruder in Erebus' realms.
There is only one true challenger to Charon's comings and goings: Bloodshard, the Gaoler, whose sole goal is to keep the Acolytes locked away from the other dragons. The two have tangled in violent combat several times--and while Bloodshard always wins, Charon usually finds a different way to sneak out, around Bloodshard's wards, within hours.
