Biography

Briar
2057.png
Night Court
tumblr_inline_nj59s7Grmr1qcxmej.png

In his despair he leapt down from the tower. He escaped with his life, but the thorns into which he fell pierced his eyes.

In a garden of dangerous plants, Briar has a certain purity: no need for poisons, for hallucinogens; just sharp spines beneath her deceptive blossoms. She is revenge and entanglement and metaphor; cruel-tempered, whip-tongued, binding. Her petals are gem-bright. She festoons her wings with bones.
The garden is no formal gathering of fae, but rather a loose grouping. Only some of the fae connected to the garden are spirits of poison or plant growth. Others are gardeners; still more are witches who distill and brew dangerous herbs. Their alignment ranges between the courts, as the bright but deadly blooms of the garden align both with Summer's growth and Night's secrets.
