Biography
"Come on bro, I got tiger blood!"
June 11, Year 24
Tongue has always enjoyed going on fighting expeditions with Bloodsore and Wormix (the former because she doesn't talk much, the latter because he's so darn agreeable) and before she knew it she was break dancing on their level.
Dancing!
In battle!
It isn't done!
…Not by decent folks, anyway!
Her dancing is so lethal, hatchlings and the infirm are advised to stay outside a five meter buffer zone.
She's been loaning books to Grannyclaws' "school" regularly enough to have set up a crude library in the vault. She doesn't know how to index and isn't trying to learn, but she does have a shelf that says "Good Books" and a shelf that says "Misunderstood Books." Eventually, although it's outside her comfort zone, she agreed to become a full-time instructor teaching dance, battle, and the inevitable intersection between the two. Bloodsore insisted. Everyone love watch her work, Bloodsore says. That's not always true, in fact some eyes literally start bleeding once Tongue gets going, but Tongue will act like it's true.
May 29, Year 11
A wanderer drifted in to spend the night and then… sort of… stayed. Meatheart keeps asking how much longer she's planning to sleep in the vault- Tongue always answers with a noncommittal grunt. Bloodsore is delighted as long as she does, for she loves watching the fancy tricks she does with her feet.
Around other dragons, it's likely that Tongue puts on a persona. She's loud, constantly showing off dance moves and claw tricks and clicking her tongue at her own jokes. In spite of her smiles and backslaps, she seems to want most social interactions to be over as quickly as possible (as do many of the creatures she interacts with). It's not because of ill will. It may be that the effort is exhausting.
When alone- which is most of the time- Tongue likes to read. Mostly fiction. If it's nonfiction, you can bet the topic is something she never expects to use. She'll even read the runes that the crew covers the walls with when they're bored. She never talks about what she reads, but anyone can take a book off the pile she's collected.
Some- not naming names- have speculated on the nature of her Charge. Is it… books? Knowledge? Bachelorhood? In fact, she has none. She is still Searching.
Also, she's sensitive about her tiny face.
