Clan Role:
Clan cook, and soldier of the Driftwood Dauntless 黒 (Hei) has a long, mysterious history that is soaked in blood. This is a source of heavy internal conflict for him, as in his heart he actually doesn't desire to kill. In the social underworld in which he had lived, situations were highly complicated, and he was not only ordered to kill for his job, but often had to fight in self defense as a result of his involvement. The life he was trapped in caused him copious amount of stress and hardened him, though inside he is kind and friendly if not a little lonely and shy as well. Nearly everyone he was ever close to was been taken away from him, and he protects Yin, the last person he has, with his life. Aside from being the last, he also loves her deeply, making the stakes very high if he were ever to lose her. He managed to flee from his past life and take Yin with him, seeking a far-away place where they would be safe from those who would try to hunt them. Though for a long time he was mistrustful of the clan, he now believes that they are safe; this does not mean he has let down his guard completely, should an exterior threat present itself. The other clanmates know nothing of his past. This is just as well, since all Hei wants now is a calm life with Yin. In times when the clan is under attack, he will fight vigorously to defend their home and protect his beloved. Consistent with his Mirror nature, he eats as much as ten dragons his size, and he also loves to cook. He often cooks meals for the clan, and even though he makes more than they can eat, he can usually finish off any leftovers. And yet he somehow remains thin, even after gorging himself. |
