Biography
For a while, at least, Arcathyst had serious anger issues.
If two dragons were squabbling and Arcathyst was too close to it, he would snap out. If a dragon said something too rough towards him, he would get angry and snarl back. If someone pushed him the wrong way, he would get irritated. Sometimes he got mad for no reason at all.
Eventually, Glairie came up to Arcathyst and asked what was wrong. She said that he was worrying her, and that she didn't want her first attempt at making a clan to be torn apart because of just one dragon's anger issues.
Finally, Arcathyst broke. He told her that he was really worried most of the time. He worried about the future of the clan, he worried about the other dragons, he was worried that, even though he had managed to repress actually fighting anyone, he might snap one day and seriously injure someone. Heck, he was worried a band of Harpies might come in and slaughter everyone.
At the end of his rant, Glairie thought for a bit. Eventually, she came up with an idea.
"Why don't you try vent art?" She asked, bringing him some paper and a writing utensil. At first, Arcathyst wasn't too hooked on the idea, but over time he grew to like drawing, and as that happened he grew less overly angry.
Also, Arcathyst decided to train as a guard-so that he can really feel like he's working to protect the clan, rather than hurt it.
