His name was Apollo until he joined the Moonlit Nyyt Weyr. He traveled a long distance to find somewhere where he could fight for food for the lair and not have to tend any more nests. Seventeen children were quite enough. He is the first born in a long line from first gen parents who were from unhatched eggs who sport five digit id #s.
Here he spends time with his friends, enjoying his favorite shared hobby with his familiar - spelunking. Wrangler gave him the light he wears, which gives his familiar the giggles, as the great big Tundra dragon impersonates his very tiny friend.
Midnyytsun spent over a year in the Fireweasel Lair, returning here when an influx of Venerables - those from the Time of Sixx - happened in the lands of Emberglo. The dragons of Moonlit Nyyt Weyr welcomed him back and join with Emberglo in providing safe haven for them. Midnyytsun is now a member of a group of more than ninety 'Antiques' - which he prefers to Venerables, as he thinks it is funnier.
Shortly after returning to Moonlit Nyyt Weyr, back when he was still basic, he found a lone egg deep in a cave he was exploring. It felt very cold to him so he wrapped the egg in his well-furred Tundra arms. He stayed with the egg, keeping it warm and protected from whatever was making those growling noises deeper in the cave. On the third day, Midnyytsun woke from a nap to discover a baby Cave Jewel fast asleep in his arms. Since that moment they have been inseparable.
When he was more than 4 years old Emberglo told him to become Jaguar infused before his portrait was done, so the artist could 'do him in Jaguar.' He finally agreed to change from his beloved basic but he is secretly pleased with the attention, and slightly shy about it as well.

A long time ago, in a galaxy far, far -- oh wait that's not right. I mean a long time ago, before the Emberglo Lair came into existence, there were dragons who identified themselves by a certain smaller number of digits than those who created Emberglo. They call these dragons from 'The Time of Sixx' and before that 'The Time of Fyyv'. Rumor has it there are even epochs before those!
Recently, Wyldyrn offered lair space to a new and already much beloved set of dragons. Nine of them to be exact. Eight of them are from The Time of Sixx and one from The Time of Five.
Introducing the new old dragons of Emberglo!
Midnyytsun was here once before, then lived in Fireweasel for over a year then returned.
Just before his return, Konzen came to stay and receive a new set of genes, plus exhibited his previously hidden tert the color of shadow with a smoke gene.
After Konzen, Celeste arrived, changed her name to Sharette and settled in.

... closely followed by Scatterwing, who expects to scatter when the new wheel rolls.
Ventus spun on in and eagerly revealed his tert with a crackle gene - shadow! Add some tattoos and he is happy
as well as Jarrah, who is perfect just the way she is - rust eye spots is so rich on her.
Nightstar flitted on over - he will change his name to Filaree (desert wildflower) and his genes to fancy when Emberglo Lair can afford a name scroll and the new genes.
Then all those dragons got together and decided to break into the vault - they had heard about a lovely Fae who was looking for a new home and she was from The Time of Fyyv!
Emberglo, Wyldyrn and Shadymum did much hesitation and worry about offering such a dowery for her but in the end, they succumbed to the temptation and offered her a space in Emberglo.
She changed her name to a desert widflower as all the Fae of Emberglo are named.
One more dragon was then invited, but refused to move over, so another was chosen in her place. Proud Liriel joined those from the Time of Sixx and the Time of Fyyv, to make the number total nine.
Welcome, new old dragons, to Emberglo.
(and now ... time to recover. The vault was hit HARD and some genes must still be found. But Emberglo is content with the new old dragons. Scatterwing will change in time; perhaps Sharette, who has scattered before in a previous clan but the others will remain their colors. Whew - that was fun!)
Updates: The number, at the moment, is 54. Some have come and gone but oddly these 9 have remained. When the expansion happens, perhaps the 6 digits will move to 54, the 5 digit will stay five and the amazing and wonderful Antiquity, the 4 digit, will be like the Highlander: There can be only one!
Jarrah received Python when that gene happened.
Scatterwing and scrolls took ... perhaps 7-9 scatters before she reached a happy state. That was an expensive night.
