WhiteWind gave up a warrior's life, but she had a very good reason:

When WhiteWind Was a Child, and when flights fought for dominance, she had a very caring mother. But while joyflying, she met a strange Coatl. He said,"your mother is a spy for plague." She thought he was lying, and flew away. But the very next day, he returned. He finally convinced Her, and she plotted to kill her mother. And when she had the chance, she lashed out. Striking her mother on the throat and knocking her down. Her mother let out a bloody gurgle, then died. All of the sudden, WhiteWind heard horrible chuckling behind her. She turned around and saw the mysterious Coatl. "you! you set me up!" and she flew towards him, claws raised, and slashed. Then she looked up, and saw him flying away. She was an expert flyer, and took off. She cought up, Slashed, and saw a body falling from the sky. At that moment, she swore never to fight again.

WhiteWind also teaches the art of medicine to younger medical dragons.
