Mobster | "The Don" | Overprotective of His Females
Described as cruel, ruthless, vicious, and all other names one can associate with said words, it is a wonder Don ever made it into Snow Globe in the first place. Having dedicated his life to making a name for himself among the dark corners of the dragon world moved by greed and an unsettling love for blood and violence he shared with his sister Leliana it is dragons like him which the barrier was first placed for. Unfortunately for the malicious Imperial, while he was quite content with his place in the food chain - as he so fondly refers to it - his sister craved for more, and as his trusted second hand he sent he out to expand his empire into Plague lands, hoping to establish her as the boss of whatever land she picked as her domain. To his chagrin, news came from an associate and close friend of his - Azariah of Snow Globe - with word of how he had heard of Leliana making her home at Clan Scath, a clan which while on good terms with Snow Globe is known for having a leader with an even bigger tendency for blood lust as well as a deep seeded hatred of Imperials as a whole. Enraged and consumed with worry, Don started his way to Clan Scath while desperately trying to come up with a plan that would remove his sister from danger and allow her to retain her pride. At the edge of Scath's domain his fate changed as he encountered a battered, dark hued Imperial which he confused for his sister at a distance, the sight scarring him far more than it should have a dragon who kept his arms bandaged with cloth laced with the blood of his victims. Non the less he took the female in, and in his desperation to save her life - the thought of what would happen if this were his sister coaxing him to do so - he flew towards the rather nearby Snow Globe, one of the closest clans to Scath despite their lands being under the domains of different deities, a sure sign of the horrors that were rumored to go on in Scath. Once at the barrier he begged for entrance, his desperation reaching Kakortok who simply let him know the barrier would allow safe passage to all those who meant no harm to the village. Being allowed stay in the village, Donovan has remained living here to both keep an eye on Leliana from a safe distance as well as allow Keaira - now his mate - to recover. Despite his thirst for blood he has grown to like the easy going, bumbling leader of Snow Globe, and while he would admit this to no one has inwardly vowed loyalty to him. He keeps his businesses afloat and uses Azariah's services when the Pearlcatcher is not on a job for the village, but has made it clear to all outside forces that an attack towards Snow Globe is now considered a personal attack to him, in turn making the village safer as well as unwittingly earning a slight grace for his sister at Scath due to Azulenth's love for his cousin and the village he protects. |
