Her Charge


All her life she had fought. Born into a tribe of warriors, she was taught to fight for no one but herself, to trust no one and defend her own interests first. This philosophy did not sit well with her Guardian instincts and caused her much grief until the day she left to follow her calling to her Charge. She wandered the Starfall Isles for years searching for her Charge, when she stumbled across a lone Tundra, recording data in a logbook. Feeling the pull increase, she assumed he was her Charge and began to follow him. Although the Tundra was rather startled and a bit afraid at first, he soon grew used to her presence. He continued his research and she sat by and watched him.

While he studied Pluto carved out a home for them in the mountains, and over time their family grew. It started with their first member, a young cyborg Tundra they found abandoned in Plague territory. Then a downed Skydancer. More and more dragons continued to find their way to the pair, until their small band of dragons became an organized clan. Governments and jobs were established, with Pluto being placed as Clan Leader in an almost unanimous decision. Now, many seasons past their founding and many days of struggle, change, and pain behind them, the clan has come to a comfortable rest in the Star Wood Strand. While no one, not even Silas, can predict the future ahead, Pluto knows that whatever happens, she will do her best to remain a strong and valiant leader.
