B I O G R A P H Y
I've been here so long, I think it's time to move, The winter's so cold, summer's over too soon. Regulus is a lone hunter roaming the forest, with no desire for a clan or a mate. He decides to mate with the Fae Indigena after a battle of wills that lasted weeks and involved elaborate hunts and games in the forest as well as several bitter fights. However, he still has no intention of becoming a permanent member of the clan – occasionally he visits out of curiosity and to check on his offspring with Indigena. In recent years Regulus has settled permanently within the growing clan, though he takes little interest in its politics or the social life. He does maintain a close relationship to his daughter Patience – whenever the duties of clan heir stifle her, she will accompany her father on his journeys into the wild forest. His granddaughter Bee is Regulus' greatest joy, and taking a hand in her upbringing bound him closer to the clan than ever. These days he actively supports his mate in her duties as matriarch and shows interest in the daily affairs of the clan. |

Regulus is the brightest star in the constellation Leo and one of the brightest stars in the night sky, lying approximately 79 light years from Earth. Regulus is a multiple star system composed of four stars that are organized into two pairs. The spectroscopic binary Regulus A consists of a blue-white main-sequence star and its companion, which has not yet been directly observed, but is probably a white dwarf. Located farther away is the pair Regulus B and Regulus C and D, which are dim main-sequence stars.
