so who could the outlaws fight? his legions trying to root them out, the tithe-farms and supply trains that fed the farm, other outlaw bands in sickening displays of rivalry, and even the fireborns crawling into the expanse to carry them away, because even if they could leave, physically, it wasn't that easy.

none of them had any skills beyond cutting a telegraph wire without electrocuting themselves. dragons - minebosses in the molten scar, fishing captains on the Sea - knew the lightning accent, and would fleece you for it, since they knew you were desperate and had no clan to back you up.

- does not think of herself as a lightning dragon & leapt on the sense of identity virulent gave her


- kind of separate from her kinsmen, doesn't know what to think of them for the most part
- theoretically she could try to push a political career but i don't think it's crossed her mind


- bothers iliutas a lot because she's the most easily accessible one
- kicks down her door at 4 am, pulls her out of her depression nest, and forces her to slam a jar of moonshine and go on a pony ride with her
- overestimates how much iliutas likes her
