Blessed with the true coloration of Tidelord, these dragons have diplomatic immunity throughout the Sea of a Thousand Currents. To harm one such blessed would lead to ill fortune of the clan, and this belief has extended outside of the sea from the waves of roaming water dragons. Tis every water dragon’s duty to protect those so honored, and this immunity can only be revoked if these dragons perform an act against the sacred laws of Tidelord. They may still act as warriors and be at risk of harm, so long as the battle is an honorable one.

Often these dragons make their way to the Spiral Keep to become priests and priestesses of the Flight. It is there that they learn to perform the daily sacred rites and rituals used by Water Flight Clans, and to harness the powers of prophecy and magic. They are also gifted one blessing from Tidelord, from physical or magical abilities like swimming and foresight to more intangible characteristics like secrecy and loyalty. They may use these blessings upon others, summoning from dragons and creatures the aspect of their blessing. However, if they misuse this blessing then it will become a curse in which they lose or perform the very opposite of the ability they once had.

Wavecrest assumed his position in Clan Bhaga much the same way that he did everything; with as little explanation possible, and a minimum of interaction with the other dragons of the clan. He surfaced from a nearby river, having swum a night and a day from the Sea of a Thousand Currents, and walked straight to Usarna's private chambers to make himself known to the Clan Matriarch. There, Usarna greeted him wordlessly, having been told of his arrival by the stones, just as he had read his fate on the day he left the Water flight. The two dragons, having thus reached a wordless understanding, provided no explanation to their Clanmates whatsoever, and Wavecrest began to build his shrine to the Tidelord.

Above all, Wavecrest values loyalty and secrecy, with his den hidden at the furthest corner beside Bhaga's undergound lake. There, he performs his daily ablutions away from the eyes of the other clan. By stepping quietly into the underground lake, waiting with endless patience for a current or bubble to whisper visions of the future to him, he sometimes imagines that he can hear his lost deity. "A maelstrom...churns..." He can often be found beside his seashell effigy of the Tidelord, meditating over these and other prophecies from the deep. Other dragons often describe his vigil as mournful, but rather than forlorn, Wavecrest instead thinks of himself as simply needing more patience. A simple ripple can grow to become a mighty current, with enough time...
