The patriarch of the clan, he isn't that talkative most of the time, but he is still the one to handle many matters in the clan. He finds himself swamped with trying to keep his clanmates from trying to kill each other, as he worries that leaving the task to his mate will have a negative impact on her health. He also has less extreme anger than his mate, and he is less likely to express it, so he has to deal with in-fighting by default.

He has learned some songs from Lirot, which he finds amusement with by embarrassing PinkNight around the others, though he claims it is also to cheer her up. He also seems to enjoy using them around their daughter, though he does it less often since her emotions are harder for most dragons to read.

He used to talk less then he does now, preferring to only talk to the clan's Skydancers and Faes, but the growing tensions in the clan has changed that. He has begun trying to learn the body language of other dragons of that he can better communicate with them.

He has been trying to stay as close to PinkNight as possible, to keep her from snapping, and has taken to staying on her right shoulder. It doesn't seem to be helping much. He is sometimes referred to by the nickname 'Sunset.'
