Blossom Rosebud - Leader

Blossom's Favorite Things:

Notes on Blossom: Nonbinary. Sweet-natured, inquisitive. Loves to cuddle Gosha, their primary mate. Possibly part of a polycule including their guardians Custard and Midnight.

Blossom is an extremely powerful Druid, with magical capabilities to be feared. Luckily, they focus on being the primary healer for their clanmates, rather than a scourge on their enemies. No, that's left to the bogsneak warrior veteran, Garelm, and the strong spiral, Stelian. Blossom can, however, be a bit, uh, bloodthirsty at times. If they feel Fallen Leaves is being threatened, and that their warriors need help, they will go into a kind of magical berserker rage on the battlefield, decimating enemies left and right.

Blossom was a pseudo-parent to many dragons in the clan, and feels very close ties to them all, and loves hatchlings to their very core.

Blossom's favorite food is crickets, two-tone june beetles, and craig flies. Enjoys the occasional cake slice.

RiversideWren #356955 has Bryan and Brullyg, Blossom and Gosha's grandkids through Valmai.

The history of Fallen Leaves

Blossom remembered when it was just themself and Gosha. Fallen Leaves was just a small group of dragons then, barely a clan. All they had was a small underground den-- Gosha had to keep cool somehow, and they didnt have the tools to constantly shear fur from him --and Blossom's small sap nest inside of it. Scarely any items to decorate with, as food was a necessity.

It started with their and Gosha's whirlwind romance, a nest hatching some time later with their first hatchlings together: a soil-scaled female fae named Mountain Ash, and a flame-furred tundra dubbed Ember. Mountain Ash has stayed, but Ember was exalted unto the Gladekeeper; Such an honor for one of Blossom's first nest!

In the meantime, new dragons came upon their clearing in the Everbloom Gardens. Ruby was the first of those that still live in the clan today. Then the spirits Springleaf and Laurel.

Blossom has a habit of bringing foundlings into the clan. Iridescent, a Fire-flight mirror, was one such foundling. The juvenile was cast out of her former home, abandoned. Blossom couldn't believe it! Nor could they allow the child to still wander around alone. Mirrors need a pack to be happy, and Blossom's clan would be her pack. Now, Iri is a force to be reckoned with, and a stalwart protector of Fallen Leaves. She worships the Gladekeeper, for the glade had brought her the happiness she had sought so much in her then-young life.

Stelian and his mate Riverwind were the next to show up, young and fresh-faced, newly adult dragons. They met in Fallen Leaves, although the clan didn't have a name at the time still. Stelian, the vain little rogue, charmed the enigmatic Riverwind. The rest is history; which Riverwind would gladly tell, although she does love to embellish her stories, when not writing them down in the clan's history books. Now, much of the clan is related to these two, many of their descendants still living in the clan. Their great-grandson Resophylas is a knight!

Two guardians found the clan leaders next. Blossom and Gosha happened to be the wards of the guardian dragon mates Custard and Midnight. (insert eventual lore about possible polyamory between these 4 dergs here.)

Then the rush of skydancers joined, having their own children in time. One can consider the descendants of a skydancer named Storm as being descendants of Riverwind as well; Riverwind found him as a hatchling and raised him alongside her own clutches. Now Storm is the clan's head mediator, keeping disputes from getting out of control.

Duskrunner, Storm, Anatolios, Rose Bloom, and Tesla are the Skydancer elders of the clan of Fallen Leaves.

Duskrunner joined first, and is a Lightning-flight mage who never realized how much she would come to love living in the Labyrinth, even though her magic needs careful consideration before use here. Storm was next, but grew into his own much later. Anatolios came to Fallen Leaves with much knowledge, as he was older than any in the clan at the time. He was indespensible to have as one of the elders, having experienced much. Anatolios became the primary courier of the clan, trusted with important deliveries to be made outside of the Labyrinth (those were definitely too far for Mountain Ash, who handles deliveries in Fallen Leaves and nearby Nature clans.)

Rose Bloom is... well, she adds character to the clan. No one knew why she bothered to stay; Fallen Leaves is hardly meant for such a society darling like herself. But, she stayed, and had many hatchlings (who are nothing like her, thankfully!)

Last of the Skydancer elders is Tesla, the alchemist. She is the first official representative from another flight, of any of the flights. She is extremely trusted, and regularly is in talks with Twig, Fallen Leaves' head alchemist, whom Tesla trained herself.

Tesla's joining Fallen Leaves was a bit of an accident: she got lost one day and ended up here. The clan is very happy she has stayed all this time, and she is a beloved elder.

During all this, the clan had no official name. Until one day, a fae-dryad named Falling Leaf, made herself known. (WIP)
