Iva awoke, dazed and confused, rising from her place of slumber. How long had it been since she had seen the light of day? She struggled to her feet, her fragile bones not used to carrying her weight. The cool chamber echoed with the sound of her small footsteps. Rubbing her eyes, she found herself staring at a mirror, revealing her strange appearance.

She appeared to be a child. She knew this to be wrong, but she couldn't explain why. The memories of before her rest were scattered and faded. Large horns, seemingly too big to fit her head protruded out, up, and in. Her short, lavender hair reflected with a light blue tint. Yellow eyes shone beneath her fluffy bangs, they were wide with fear. Something had gone wrong, she thought, as she made her way toward what seemed to be the exit to her chamber.

The door was stuck. What seemed to be countless years of passing weather had sealed it shut, maybe even caused debris to pile on the other side. She pondered briefly. The small girl felt a frigid chill climb up her spine, and recognized an overwhelming energy surge through her. A violet aura surrounded her hands, her eyes glowing an eerie bright yellow. Reaching out a palm, a beam of eldritch magic shot forward, leaving the door in pieces. An ancient knowledge had triggered reflex within her core.

Iva is a very shy, timid female, at least at first glance. Though she appears as a child, she has the physical as well as magical strength to fight her own way through a battle. Her memories of events may be gone, but the skills and deadly abilities from her past life have not faded.

Iva was a powerful dragon, a warrior in a fierce battle. She was betrayed, destroyed, and banished to death. Her soul, however, was preserved. A powerful magic reanimated her now frail body, bringing her back to the material world. Memories have been lost, however she often will get flashes of her past, as well as senses of deja vu.

As Iva grows, her desire for revenge grows with her. She seeks those who destroyed the dragons, and herself along with them. Her kin dismantled, she is left to the world of humans and those alike, tasked with fitting in and finding herself. Her past life is but a dream, memories lost to time and space. But that fire within her never ceases to burn.
