STORY...

I don't remember being a hatchling. I figure it's probably best that way. People forget things for a reason, right?

My first real memory is of her. Faelynn. I thought she was dead when I first saw her. Had I not come across her when I did, she probably would be. I gave her water and found her some food....and we haven't really been apart since then. I'm her best friend. She's my everything. She doesn't know that though.

The Gladekeeper speaks to her. She was told that she is Chosen. I believe it. Spend ten minutes with her and you'd believe it too. There is something about her that calms the soul. She lights the way. She is both gentle AND fierce.

We started this clan together, but it is Faelynn that the others stay for. They look on her with awe because she speaks with the Glademother, but they look on her with love because her heart is beautiful.

And so I wait. I stay and give her advice about how to lead the clan. I battle along side her and teach the others how to defeat the beastclans. I help her prepare those that are Chosen to join the Glademother. I watch her when she is not looking...and I wait. I wait for her to see me. I wait to be something more than just a companion. I wait for her heart to see mine.

I've sought comfort from others, but none can compare. I will wait until time has no meaning and the world has no form. Faelynn lives to serve the Gladekeeper, but I live to serve her. She is my everything.
