On the first day she was born, she was adopted by PeppermintStars' clan. She has no memory of her parents or her siblings anymore. Though at first she seemed like a simple, child-like spiral, Miyae suddenly grew cautious of her in fear Jewel would overthrow her one day.

Miyae has never liked Jewel. She hated the way she dressed in the expensive, softly-woven clothes, and the fact that everyone seemed to like Jewel more than her. She was, indeed, jealous. She was getting all the attention; all the treasure of the clan was being spent on her. She was the first warrior of the clan; she was the one that was elected as leader; she was the one who got the value of being placed as the first dragon of the clan. All this used to be Miyae...

Over time, Miyae has adapted to be... somewhat comfortable around Jewel. Though she still despises her, Miyae does not act as rude or arrogant around Jewel anymore. Though Miyae is not the leader of the clan anymore, she is still respected as the progen, or founder of the clan.
