Anxious, often tired, a bit prickly, and consistently unsure of himself, Wallace has a lot of stuff buzzing around in that head of his. He wears his heart on his sleeve and often finds himself ruled by emotion, despite his efforts to make decisions based on logic. Wallace has a very strong sense of morality and will immediately voice opposition if he feels like something is wrong or unethical (he’ll also tell people when he thinks they’re going to do something stupid that they’re being stupid). He cares a lot. About a lot of things. A lot.
He’ll sometimes become anxious if there’s a lot of attention on him, but he also knows that being tall and albino is bound to get some stares- it’d be kind of silly to expect anything else, but that doesn’t stop him from feeling that sweet, sweet anxiety. He’s routinely pretty hard on himself and can easily fall into a sneaky spiral of self-doubt and insecurity if he dwells on something too much.
As with almost anyone who deals with anxiety, Wallace often finds himself stuck in his own mind, and while he’s gotten better at asking for help, he’ll be the first to admit that he’s still got a long way to go before he's in a good place, mentally. He's dealt with depression for much of his life, and often finds that he really doesn't know what to do with himself. Given his albinism, the constant barrage of sunshine doesn't exactly agree with him. As unsettling as the Hewn City is, Wallace is just glad that he isn't burning to death.
