“QUOTE.”

She is utterly terrified. How is it that she can be this terrified and yet still stay? Was she even more fearful about what was behind her? Or maybe just too relieved to go back. When they had realized her sister had just up and left without earning her name first the whole clan had been in an uproar. It was like every dragon was suddenly jerked back down from the clouds and slammed into the ground. Most of the clan were furious and insulted at the blatant disregard for tradition. They banished her and disowned her which made for a slightly awkward ceremony due to her lack of a name. However, there were those who left bewildered and shaken. They suddenly realizing that all they knew was not all there was, suddenly shown that third way out and most were terrified to take it. She’d been one of them.

She honestly can’t recall a thing between going to bed one night and then ending up at the border of the Starfall Isles by the next dusk. But it was too late to turn back and so she left. Nameless and not fully trained and completely unprepared. How she manages to scrape by enough to end up in this warm den in a Shadow lair is yet another mystery she can’t figure out. She might just be too scared to think about it and all the implications that makes about her. She thought she knew herself, she might be wrong and when an Arcane dragon is wrong it usually ends up compounding somehow until it ends up being a disaster of epic proportions. Just look at their god, perfect example…then again maybe the tightness in her gut was just the mushrooms she had for dinner. She was should have taken a closer look at them, she was an alchemist after all. Fascinating, the effect food can have on ones thoughts, really, utterly fascinating.
