Priva left her home when she was a young teenager to travel to a more prosperous Kingdom. Though she cared for her family, she was perhaps the most distant from them. She couldn't stand the theft and bloodshed that nearly all of them seemed to partake in without a second thought. Following their path instead of her own had only landed her in hot water with a mountain of guilt pressing down on her back, making her bones groan in response to the weight. Sometimes she felt like she was carrying their sins, too, and that was the reason they were so carefree and heartless about it.

When she left, she left with a note on the counter and nothing else. Priva had next to no money and skills, but the thing she did have was faith. She had faith the Gods would be looking after her, that they would keep her alive on her journey, that they would have an answer for her whenever she got to her destination. If she was honest with herself, she wasn't sure what her destination was at that time. It was something she left up to her gut feeling.

She arrived battered and weary at Caelestis. Despite the overall turmoil of the world and shortages of money and food, it was rumored to be the wealthiest, most well-to-do Kingdom in all the realms. Or, at least, one of them. Priva could never quite remember. What she did remember, though, was the many kind helping hands that took care of her from the moment she arrived. It was such an entirely new experience to Priva that she thought maybe she had died along the way and this was actually her afterlife. Not too shabby, really.

Priva was accepted into a congregation and trained to be a priestess. Though she had nothing to offer them, they had plenty to offer her and she was ready to accept their endless generosity and knowledge. It was through her perseverance that she worked her way from hapless wanderer to accelerated training to be a Caelestian Priestesses of the Royal Court.
