Biography

Sphalerite
Border Patrol | Ambassador of Plague

Sphalerite came to the clan as a hatchling and was cared for by Iolite, who saw potential in her as a mage. Once grown, she joined the other warriors-in-training, and out of all the trainees, she keeps the most trophies from her slain foes. She uses these trophies to decorate her den in the lair, and arranges them in beautiful, yet macabre patterns. While many members of the clan find this habit off-putting (if not outright disturbing), dragons such as Tanzanite and Oligoclase are more appreciative and occasionally bring things back for her from their travels.

Far different than her original home, the Southern Icefield provided an endless source of curiosity for Sphalerite. This curiosity extended not only to her surroundings, but to her clanmates as well, and she soon learned that there was more than one dragon with a secret to keep. She quickly made it her goal to expose these secrets for herself- for better or for worse and regardless of how much danger she would be exposed to. Iolite and Proustite constantly caution her, and despite her reassurances, they don't seem to believe her when she says she'll be careful. She thinks they know something she doesn't, and whatever that something is frightens them.
