Biography

From the moment of their hatching, Bhala and her sister have been carefully cultivated by their mother to be the perfect warriors. Fierce, uncompromising, and unquestioning, they are her silent sentinels, never to be found far from her side. Larger and more powerful than her sister, Bhala takes the dominant role, acting as her mother's lieutenant. She asserts herself through force rather than words, and the rest of the clan gives her a wide berth. It is generally assumed that she is an unthinking drone, incapable of acting on any prerogative other than her mother's, but in fact Bhala is terrifically bright, her mind always at work. It is when she is most silent and still that she is most dangerous, for that is when she is formulating her plans.
