As a young dragon, it was clear that Ferdie’s first love was of stars, as he spent nearly all his time holed up in the library reading and re-reading everything he could get his claws on - more often than not, Proteus had to put him to bed when he fell asleep amongst the books. Supposed to be apprenticed to Celeste, a high honour, they soon discovered that he had inherited his fathers’ bow skill, and she instead encouraged him to pursue his natural talent.

A mature dragon, even as a hatchling, Ferdie is calculating and thoughtful, choosing his words carefully. A little awkward around others, he has trouble making friends, but it is generally agreed he is a kind and loyal dragon.
