Kolur

Kolur is... hmm. "Surprisingly ruthless" might be the best way to put it.

He spends most of his days draped across one or the other of the Clan's larger members, sleeping, reading, complaining good-naturedly about something or just cuddling, purring (no, no-one has figured out how that works yet) and half-dozing the day away. He only trains anything more than the absolute bare minimum to maintain himself in fighting shape under extreme duress (commonly applied by Aghi), and he's oddly sensitive for someone who seems so laid-back.

But perhaps that goes paw in paw with an extremely sharp mind that is constantly analysing (and over-analysing) everything he comes across, as well as an empathy on par with even the most sensitive of Skydancers.

All that, coupled with his habit to hum and sing whenever he's deep in thought (no matter how odd it sounds in his Fae monotone) makes it extremely startling whenever statements such as these fly out of his mouth, without the dragon himself seemingly realising how disturbing he's being:

"If we can get Sverrir to transport us in, I think we can kill half of them before they even wake up."

"It'd be less of a hassle to just assassinate their offspring, honestly."

"Well, hello there. Now, this isn't personal, but I'm going to have to sting you up by your entrails. As an example, you see."

...no, that is not an exaggeration. Those are sentences he really has uttered, word-for-word.

Kolur is a bit overprotective over his Clanmates, you see, living by the twin creeds of "Rules of engagement are for other people who do not mind getting themselves and their Clan slaughtered," and "Everything is permitted as long as you win," and then taking that to their logical extremes. No-one quite knows what he's been through to come to that conclusion, only that something definitely happened (it's too personal for anything else) and that he's too young for it to have been the Beastclan wars.

The few times anyone has even appeared to approach the subject with him the shadows have started behaving oddly, and they quickly change subjects.

Given that Kolur's very skilled at umbrakinesis and uses it to augment his own strength and reach to such frightening levels while fighting that the marks he leaves are often attributed to very large, very strong Imperials, that is probably the wisest decision.

Besides, whenever he gets upset with someone he might not cuddle with them for months, and no-one wants to loose that privilege.

Kolur is the best cuddler.
