Light dragons are meant to be quick-witted and intelligent, but Kaguya found herself forgetting even the most basic of daily tasks. Her memory failing her, she left her home in the Sunbeam Ruins and sought a place where she could literally gather her thoughts. The Sanatorium called out to her, strong enough to overcome the animosity between her Light home and Shadow destination.

She found herself in a hubub of activity, surrounded by jostling dragons, bright flashing colors and sneaking shadows. The place was chaos! Kaguya found no respite, and immediately set to task. She organized the clan's leadership, set up a schedule for hunting and food distribution, and sorted through the massive pile that was the clan's hoard. With each of these tasks, her extensive collection of notes and lists grew, until her ward was filled with papers covered in multicolored inks. She came to realize that her habit of note-taking was helping her memory, she remembered so much more than she had before, and what she still forgot, she had written down somewhere. When she asked to be examined and released, the other dragons were distraught. Leave? How could she leave, when she had done so much to help them? She wasn't a patient, she was a savior! Touched, Kaguya realized that the clan created by the Sanatorium, its patients and healers more like family than caretakers, was all she could ever want. And so she stayed. Her chambers are still littered with parchment, reams and stacks of scrolls littering the floor. While her memory still fails her, she is invaluable to the clan.

Kaguya's forgetful nature means she often loses her writing quill. To combat this she collects shed bamboo shoots from her phytocat to fashion into new ones.
