 Many of the dragons in the Fullbright Clan's lair would give their lives to defend their home if need be. At the head of them all is Hydrophane, a stern Ridgeback whose demeanour is as cold and unforgiving as her place of birth, the Southern Icefield.

Hydrophane had left the Southern Icefield seeking adventure, and would have met her end in the Star Wood Strand had it not been for the timely intervention of Amuraida and Carmine. The deep scars on her leg are a constant reminder of her weakness at that time, and what she must overcome in order to repay the life's debt she owes these two dragons.

The clan's migration to the Blacksand Annex was met with indifference by Hydrophane. It doesn't matter where the clan resides; her duty remains the same - protect the hatchlings, train the wanderers, and bid them farewell when it is time for them to leave the nest.

Hydrophane most notably participated in The Great Flameforge Joust, where she quickly made a name for herself by defeating two competitors decisively - one of whom represented the Ashfall Wastes as a champion! However, she lost in the third tier to Jaime. Though she is frustrated that she didn't make it further, she is not ashamed of her achievements, and she proudly wears the armour she had won by defeating Ilthindyr.
