Peony has the very important job of paring up all the dragons in the clan. To coincide with the clan's beliefs, she must pair together dragons who's offspring are intended to stay on Sornieth. The dragons she pairs up are intended to breed to create the most beautiful offspring and she spends much of her time taking a dragons colors, markings and breed into account. If a dragon in the lair does not have a suitable mate, It is also up to her to search for one that is up to standards.

Of course not all dragon relationships are meant to produce the most beautiful offspring. Some dragons find their lover in their mate, others do not. Peony must also keep these dragons relationships happy, by creating charms and potions to aid their hearts and minds. Though most of the time the dragons in the clan are okay with their mates going off and frolicking with other lovers, jealousy can arise....
