Was he born, or was he created...? He did not know.

As he was a wee hatchling, someone stole him from his parents' nest, blinded both of his eyes and enslaved him towards them forever. Since then, he has always been with the travelling circus, doing menial chores that he could with his blinded sight. He faintly recalls of having a sister, of having parents and a good home... but he thinks of them as mere hallucinations. Focus he should, on serving his mistress and true owner.

Azazel was the given name by his mistress, the scapegoat, the fallen angel -the demon. Lovingly called "her pet" when she is in a good mood, he is obedient to a fault. Everything she wishes is his command, be it to dance with death Himself, or nearly sacrificing his own life on her ever changing whims.

Others have tried to approach him, but too great is his devotion to his mistress to be persuaded or swayed otherwise. Witch Zafina's faithful Storm seeker accompanies him, ever watchful. When she has a very good mood, she likes to decorate him so he's pleasing to the eye. The fateful day came when a great fire ensnared the circus, he was led away by Luminitsa - his mistress no where to be found.

He mourns the loss of his mistress, but remains calm as long as Lumi is with him.
